The Kingman Marina is one of the best in Buzzards Bay. This a great harbor to stay in prior to going through the Cape Cod canal. There are 2 ways into the harbor, one from the north and one from the south. The way in from the north is a bit longer but the preferred way. Keep your eyes on the depth sounder and don’t cut any marks or you will surely run aground. Fortunately the bottom is mostly sand. Friendly, helpful staff. In 2016 Moorings cost $50 /night which includes launch service which runs until 9 pm on week days and 10:30 pm on Friday & Saturday. There is a full service boatyard which can perform almost any type of repairs.There is a great restaurant called The Chart Room. Good food & fair prices. Friday and Saturday night be prepared to wait for a table. It gets very crowded.
