Bourne Community Boating announces the return of their winter lecture series. Please join them at the Bridge View Grill on Trowbridge Road in Bourne Thursday 2/5 at 6:00 PM for a talk by
local Cataumet Sailmakers, Julia Doyle-Kingsbury and Marc Daniels. For the last 50 years, Squeteague Sailmakers have built customized sails using state-of-the-art, computer-aided design and plotting equipment, and are still the only CAD-CAM loft on Cape Cod and one of the very few independent sail lofts left in the United States.
The Lecture will take place downstairs from the restaurant. You are welcome to bring drinks and food from the restaurant to the lecture. There is no charge to attend: a $5 donation is suggested. Attendees of our past lecture series have provided very positive feedback: it’s a great way to get out of the house, enjoy stimulating conversation and meet new seafaring friends.
