Learn to Sail

Kingman Yacht Center is home to the Cape Cod Sailing School, a US Sailing certified instructional facility. Current courses offered include:

Basic Keelboat

This course is designed to give you the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to safely captain a 19’ to 26’ sailboat with auxiliary power during daylight hours in moderate up to heavy-air conditions.

Introduction to Yachting

Do you have a dream of owning a sailing yacht someday? Do you currently own a small boat and have been thinking of moving up but would like more information? This course is designed to introduce you to the modern yacht and give you a real taste of the yachting lifestyle.

Private Lessons

If you don’t have time to commit to a multi-day course, or you just want to get out on the water and learn about sailing at the same time, call us and we’ll arrange a private lesson with one of our instructors.
